This guide shows students how to do research and to write a paper. Additionally, this guide provides tips on how to use databases such as Questia and EBSCO.

Circulation

Student, faculty, and staff may check out books and back list periodicals from the general collection. The audio & visual collection is available to faculty and there is a growing audio and video collection for students. Books check out to students for 3 weeks and may be renewed unless there is a hold request on the title.

Amenities:

Learning Commons has a laser printer and photocopier.
The Learning Commons meeting area offers Projection and premium sound capability.
A conference Room is available for adult led groups and to students with teacher’s consent.

Reference Assistance:

The Learning Commons offers 6 Free Databases that students have access to at all times.

Our Databases include:

Ebsco eText, Ebsco Explora, Science Reference Center, Literary Reference Center, Questia Schools, and Eric.
