Meet the Faculty

Franck Launay-Fallasse (M.A. University of Paris La Sorbonne, M.A. Instititue of Christian Philosophy) studied philosophy and theology in Paris, France, and has been part of the Mercy faculty since 2002, also the year of his marriage and of his arrival to the United States. He teaches Theology to juniors and seniors, and he is currently the Chairperson of the Theology Department. He directs the AMA Choir that contributes to the musical liturgy of the school in the spirit of the community of Taizé.  

Andrew McGovern (B.A. Ave Maria University, M.T.S. Holy Spirit College, Th.D (Cand.) Pontifex University) joined the faculty in 2016, and will be teaching Freshman and Junior Theology. He studied with the Dominican Order at the Dominican House of Studies in the Pontifical Degree Program. He is currently writing his doctoral dissertation on the Christology of Thomas Aquinas. He coaches baseball and softball, and loves both the Atlanta Braves and the traditional Latin Mass. He attends both Holy Spirit Parish and St. Francis de Sales Parish.

Megan Trocquet (B.S., Ave Maria University) joined the faculty in 2016, and teaches Scripture and Christian Outreach. She will also serve as the Head Swimming Coach and is a member of the Campus Ministry team. She moved to Georgia in 2014 as a youth minister and is now pursing her graduate degree in Sacred Scripture. She is an avid crafter, a fan of British television shows, and has a love for all things Latin. Mrs. Trocquet enjoys visiting the aquarium in her spare time and playing fetch with her three-legged dog, Avila.
