Bobcats Win against St. Francis

September 9th, 2011

The Bobcats put together a strong performance on Friday night against the Knights of St. Francis en route to a 42-14 victory. Special teams dominated the game early when the opening kickoff was returned 95 yards for a touchdown, and the offense did not see the field until the end of the first quarter. Behind a solid run game and a stout defense, the Bobcats held St. Francis scoreless through the third quarter while posting 42 points in the first half.

The second team stepped up and played well in the second half, and the Bobcat JV defense gave up two touchdowns in the 4th quarter. It was an all-around good game for the Bobcats that the team will look to build upon this week in preparation for their first Region match up on Friday, September 16th at home against Landmark. Kickoff will be at 7:30.
