At George Walton, Brandi Nelson and Tayler Murray, #1 and #2 singles, respectively, won in straight sets for a second consecutive match. The #1 doubles team of Yates/Nagaj lost the first set but came on strong in the second set, rallying from 1-4 down to 3-4. However, George Walton was able to close out the match. The #2 doubles team of Jones/Bui played a close first set that went back and forth. There were many great points, but they lost 6-8 in the tie-breaker and were unable to regroup in the next set. However, #3 singles player Jordan Hameen won her match in straight sets to send the Mercy girls on to the next round.
