Please see flyer for more information and specific needs. Contact Petra Raville for information regarding Friday and Mr. Tolcher for information regarding Saturday.

Saturday, December 17 - Christmas party for women and children at Pregnancy Center

Mercy for LIFE is helping to provide a Christmas party for the women and children assisted at the Advice and Aid Problem Pregnancy Center in Hapeville. We are helping with this event as our third service day at the Center this semester. We have been asked to provide prizes for games for the moms and their children.  We will leave Mercy at 9:30am and return before 1:30. We have a few spots for students looking to help.

If unable to help that day, we really need the following items as prizes:

·         Card games for kids

·         DVD Movies  (G-rated)

·         A gift bag or stocking filled with personal items - toothbrush - toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc.

·         A gift bag filled with boxed foods - Stuffing, instant potatoes, gravy mix, etc.

·         A gift bag filled with canned foods - veggies, fruit, etc.

·         Hats, gloves

·         Crayons & coloring books

·         Puzzles

Saturday, December 24 - Gateway Center Christmas Eve Party and Dinner

Mercy was a huge contributor to this event last year. We helped feed well over 500 hundred men, women and children at this awesome event.  Mercy has been asked to generously respond with food for 500.

We need large portion side items as well as cooked turkeys and hams.

Last year our community stepped up in an amazing way. Additionally, the organizers are purchasing 100 roller suitcases and 100 MARTA cards for homeless mothers.

For more information about the day and the needs, please contact Mr. Tolcher.
