Good Friday Pilgrimage in Downtown Atlanta

April 18th, 2011

From the Catholic Charities- Atlanta website:

People of all faiths are invited to participate in this year's 31st Annual Good Friday Pilgrimage to be held on April 22, 2011. The Pilgrimage begins at 9 am at the State Capitol and ends at approximately 1 pm at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Crypt.

On this journey, we will stop at 14 urban Atlanta sites and reflect upon today's social justice issues as they connect with the sufferings endured by Christ in His Passion and death. Walk with us as we pray for the wisdom and courage to act on behalf of the most vulnerable in today's world. Buses will be available at the conclusion of the event to transport individuals from the King Center back to the State Capitol area.

Buses will depart from OLM on Friday at 8:15 AM and will return around 2 PM.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP by Thursday, April 21st to Matt Hofkes.
