Leadership Initiative
All students will be taking part in a new leadership program starting in the 2011-2012 school year which will be integrated throughout all school activities.
One facet of the program involves reading the book The Young Traveler's Gift by Andy Andrews, which will used for discussion in some of the Family meetings. Our goal is to help students recognize the attributes of a good leader and learn to develop those attributes in themselves and inspire them in others.
We intend to continually expand this program to give all students the opportunity to build the leadership skills necessary for their future success at Mercy, college, and beyond.
