Book Buy Back with Follett next week
June 9th, 2011
The Book Buy Back with Follett will take place at OLM on Wednesday, June 15 from 11 AM - 7 PM.
Follett is a long established textbook company that has been in existence for over 100 years. Follett offers its customers a “Book Buyback”. Like last year, this “Book Buyback” guarantees parents who participate cash back for their used textbooks.
Follett re-binds and re-conditions the books they buy back from you and puts them in an inventory from which Mercy parents will buy as 'used' in upcoming years. This keeps the textbooks useful for a longer period of time and helps the environment by recycling the books and keeping resource use down to manufacture new books. Students and staff will be mindful to take better care of their books, so as to receive the optimum buyback price from Follett. Also, when you purchase a ‘used book’ from Follett, it will be a better quality book and your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not pleased with the ‘used books’ you purchase from Follett, they will gladly exchange it!
The Follett Book Buyback will occur on Wednesday, June 15 in the OLM lobby from 11 AM – 7 PM. If you are not able to attend the school buyback event, you can also sell back books online at http://www.olmbobcats.bkstr.com, just click “sell books.” If you have questions, call Follett Virtual Bookstores at 877-827-2665.
Add yourself to the Follett Virtual Bookstore mailing list to be sure you receive important textbook date information like when the fall booklist becomes available! Go to http://www.olmbobcats.bkstr.com /email, use promo code “WIN” when you sign up to be entered in a drawing for $100 of free books in the fall!
The buyback does not preclude parents from selling books privately to other Mercy families. However, it is our hope that as many of you as possible will participate is this Book Buyback process to ensure its success!
The 2011-2012 OLM Textbook List will be posted online Thursday, June 23 here: Follett Online Bookstore for OLM
