Girls Basketball Update - Paideia, Fellowship Christian, Landmark

January 11th, 2012

After a long holiday break the Lady Bobcats were back in action as they traveled to Paideia School last Friday and played their best game of the season only to come up a little short on the scoreboard. The final score was 40 to 34.

The girls played Fellowship Christian the following night and gave a great effort despite having two starters out due to injury. The final score was 50 to 27. Chyna Terrell and Deja Barthell played well and led the team in scoring against Paideia. Kiesha Louis-Charles stepped up against Fellowship and gave her best offensive performance of the year. Deja Barthell also played well Saturday night.

The team traveled to Landmark Tuesday to play a region game and got off to a quick start, leading 13 to 2 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back. The team went on to post an impressive 54 to 25 victory. The team was lead by senior Chyna Terrell and freshman Deja Barthell in scoring. Leah Banks turned in a solid performance offensive and defensively.

The Lady Bobcats are currently 3-1 in the region with an important region game coming up this Friday night versus Strong Rock Christian School at OLM. The team will then travel to Eagles Landing Christian Academy on Saturday.
