Our Lady of Mercy's school record for wins in a season is four. Three games into Mike Earwood's first season as head coach and the Bobcats are already knocking on that door.
Mercy improved to 3-0 on the young season Friday night, defeating Glascock County on the road by 30 points, 52-22.
The 3-0 start is by far the best in the program's nine year history.
"I felt like from day one we had kids here who could do some great things if they bought into the system," Earwood explained.
"That has happened. We don't quite have everyone onboard, but most of our players are embracing what we do. We're nowhere near reaching our potential and that's the exciting thing. We're going to continue to improve and as long as we do that, it's going to be a lot of fun."
