Vote for Mercy Art Students at Dogwood Festival this weekend

Two of Mercy's students are in the Atlanta High School Art Exhibit at the Dogwood Festival this weekend, April 20-22 at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. Justin Porteous and Sarah Shupenus are up for the People's Choice Award -  please cast your vote!

Details about the People's Choice Award:

Binders Art Supplies & Frames and the Jay Shapiro Art Legacy Foundation have decided to award the People's Choice award winner of the AHSAE in the Atlanta Dogwood Festival with a $500 gift toward furthering the recipient's arts education.  The Jay Shapiro Art Legacy Foundation is committed to removing barriers to those in the visual arts community in endeavors to explore and achieve their creative potential:  www.jaylovesart.org

Vote for your favorite this weekend!  Please tell your friends to enjoy the 76th Atlanta Dogwood Festival and visit the AHSAE.  One vote per visit. 

AHSAE/Dogwood Festival hours:
FRIDAY: Noon - 10 pm
SATURDAY: 10 am - 11 pm (Awards at Noon -- not People's Choice, AHSAE closes at 7 pm)
SUNDAY: 10 am - 6 pm (Art Throwdown 1 pm - 3 pm, Competition Awards and People's Choice Award announced after 3:00)

AHSAE location in the festival  (MODA is next to us under the portico; we share the building with Willy's Mexicana Grill.)

Parking for the AHSAE  (street parking is tough, but getting there early helps)
