Academics
Mercy's students, staff, and faculty have established a tradition of academic excellence.
Our Lady of Mercy offers:
- A challenging, college-preparatory curriculum
- Advanced Placement (AP) classes are offered in the following subjects: U.S. History, Calculus, Chemistry, English, Economics, French, Government, Physics, Statistics , Art, and World History
- Honors classes are offered in the following core subjects: English, Math, and Science
- Block Scheduling (Four 1 and a 1/2 hour classes per school day designed to prepare students for a college schedule)
- Four years of Theology, Math, Science, English and Social Studies required
Accreditation and Affiliations
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS). Mercy is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), the College Board, the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), and the Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools (AAAIS).
