OLM is grateful to the service rendered by each choir member. Nevertheless, as a gratuitous service, being a choir member is not a right but an honor and a responsibility that must be both well assumed & deserved.
The choir is neither designed to be a singing class, nor to assume the functions of the regular chorus class. The choir has a very specific repertory. It is not designed to perform a wide diversity of choral pieces.
Choir members are expected to commit to the school liturgies, and to perform regularly during the weekend, at various Archdiocesan locations. A lack of commitment in weekend performances will jeopardize one’s participation in the choir.
